Gulbsa Furniture

Our workshop and shop, Gulbsa Furniture, is located at number 17 on Chotta Bangada Main Road. It’s a place where you’ll always find sawdust on the floor and the smell of cut wood in the air. We spend most of our time with tape measures and saws, trying to turn planks into something useful like a chair or a bed. The main road is right outside, so we see a lot of people passing by on their way home from work. It’s not a polished furniture showroom with bright lights and fancy music. It’s a real shop where we work with our hands every single day. Sometimes the wood doesn't cut quite right or a finish takes longer to dry than we expected, but that’s just part of the craft. We have stacks of plywood and timber leaning against the walls, waiting for the next project to start. People from the neighborhood often stop in to ask if we can fix a broken cabinet or make a new table for their kitchen. We talk to them plainly about what we can do and how much the wood will cost them. It’s a simple business built on hard work and getting splinters every now and then. We don't have a big website or a sales team. We just rely on the quality of the things we build. If you walk down Chotta Bangada Main Road, you’ll hear us working away from morning until the sun sets.
