Aaditya Photography

Our studio is over in New Dwarkapuri. Aaditya Photography isn't one of those high-end places with a million lights and a marble floor. It’s a comfortable room where we keep our cameras, tripods, and a few different backdrops. We spend a lot of time waiting for the right light or fixing up frames. The neighborhood of New Dwarkapuri is mostly residential, so we see a lot of families. Sometimes kids are running around outside while we are trying to take a serious portrait. It’s a bit chaotic but we don’t mind. We have a small desk where we do all the editing on an old computer that hums a lot. The walls are covered with some of the photos we’ve taken over the years, mostly just local people and events. You can see how styles have changed just by looking at the pictures. We don’t really do fancy marketing. Most people just see our sign or hear about us from a neighbor. Sometimes we have to head out for a shoot at a wedding or a party, so the shop stays closed for a few hours. We leave a note on the door when that happens. It’s a small business and we handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the lenses to sweeping the floor. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We like the fact that we get to see so many different people from the area every single week.
