About Delhi International School – Education in Indore
Indore is a busy place, and being out on Dhar Road means we deal with a lot of noise from the heavy vehicles going past throughout the day. The school building stands there among a few other local businesses, and it has this plain, functional look to it. We have a small parking area that always seems to be a mess when parents are dropping off their kids in the morning. Inside, the floors are made of that standard grey stone that stays relatively cool even when the Indore sun is beating down outside. The office is usually piled with stacks of paper and old files, and there’s always someone looking for a pen that they just lost. Our staff room is a bit cramped, honestly, with everyone trying to eat their lunch at the same time around two small tables. We don’t have those fancy gardens you see in magazines, just a few potted plants near the entrance that we try to remember to water. Most of the classrooms have high ceilings and those big metal fans that clatter a bit when they’re on full speed. It’s just a regular school where people come to do their jobs. We spend a lot of time fixing broken light switches or dealing with leaky taps in the washrooms. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s our daily reality and we’ve gotten pretty good at handling the little problems that pop up every day.
