D. L. Rathi & Sons

We've been at Mahaveer Chamber 4 for a long while now. It’s right on the main Siyaganj road, just across from Tel Gali. Most people know the spot because of the busy traffic around here. D. L. Rathi & Sons is basically a family-run thing. My sons and I handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves. We open the shutters early most mornings because the market gets going fast. It’s dusty and loud sometimes, but that’s just how Siyaganj is. We keep our stock in the back and on the shelves, trying to stay organized though it gets messy when big deliveries come in. People stop by to ask for prices or just to see what we have in. We don't really do much fancy advertising. Most folks find us because they were already walking down the road or someone told them where we are. We have been sitting in this same plot, Ug-1, for years. It's a small space but we make it work for everything we need to do. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break, talking to the neighbors from the other shops nearby. If you're looking for us, look for the sign near the entrance of the building. It isn't a big corporate office, just a regular place where we get our work done. We try to be fair and just do what we say we will. That's pretty much it for our daily routine.
