We started Architecture & Interior Design because we just liked making spaces look right. It’s been a while since we set up shop here at 1Saikripa Colony. Most days, you’ll find us buried in sketches or chatting with folks about how to fix up their living rooms. It isn't always fancy. Sometimes it’s just figuring out where a wall should go so the light hits the floor better. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It's just us and our tools. People stop by the colony and ask what we do, and we just tell them we draw plans and pick out colors. Some projects take a long time and others are quick fixes. We’ve learned that every house has its own set of problems. One day it’s a leaky layout and the next it’s trying to fit a big table into a small kitchen. We try to be sensible about things. If something won't work, we just say it. There’s no point in making things complicated. We handle the structural stuff and the interior bits too. It keeps the days busy. The neighborhood knows us pretty well by now. We usually have coffee on the desk and a lot of scrap paper lying around. It’s a job we enjoy, even when the measurements don't add up the first time. We just keep at it until it looks okay. It is what it is.
