Our office is up on the third floor of Sheeba Complex at Regal Chouraha. It's room 302, right down the hall from the dentist. We have a mix of people here. Some of us focus on the structure and making sure everything is solid, while others worry about how the inside looks. It gets pretty crowded in here with all the samples and rolls of paper everywhere. We don't spend much time cleaning up because there's always a new project starting. Regal Chouraha is a busy spot, so there’s always something happening outside. We started this place because we liked the idea of having everything under one roof. It saves time when the engineer can just walk over to the designer’s desk and ask a question. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just want to make sure the buildings stay up and the rooms feel right. Clients come in, we offer them some tea, and we talk about what they need. Sometimes it’s a big renovation, other times it’s just one room. We’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us. The elevator in the complex is a bit slow and makes a weird noise, so we often take the stairs instead. It keeps us moving. Working here means dealing with a lot of noise from the street, but it keeps us connected to the city. We just keep our heads down and get the drawings finished. There’s always another deadline around the corner.
