We run things out of a space at Altab Khan’s place in Keirao Makting. It is located in the Mang Maya area of East Imphal. It’s not your typical glass-and-steel office building. Instead, we are right in the middle of a residential area where everyone knows each other. This makes the workday feel a lot more relaxed. We handle various technology tasks, mostly working on computers and helping out with local tech needs. The walk to the office is nice because of the trees and the open feel of East Imphal. Inside, we have set up some sturdy tables and brought in some decent internet. It’s mostly just a few of us. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or big signs. People around here know where we are if they need anything. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon working on a single piece of code or fixing a hardware issue. The atmosphere is pretty informal. We often share snacks and talk about things other than work. It feels good to have a business in our own part of town instead of having to go far away. We just take each day as it comes and try to be useful. There isn’t any corporate ladder to climb here, just a small team doing their bit. It’s a long way from the noisy city centers, and that’s how we like it. Keeping things simple allows us to focus on the technology without too much stress.
