Thingom Biswajit

My name is Thingom Biswajit, and I run my business from the first floor of the Hbbs Solution building in Paona Bazar. We are located in the Poana International Market area, right opposite the Women Working Hostel. It’s a very lively part of Imphal, always crowded and full of energy. The office isn’t much to look at, just a practical space where we can sit down and talk about travel plans. I’ve been working here for a while, and I’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years. Most of my work involves helping people figure out their trips and making sure all the small details are handled. I don't use big, empty words to describe what I do. I just show up every morning, open the office, and start answering the phone. Sometimes it’s busy and sometimes it’s quiet enough to actually finish a cup of tea. Being in the international market means I meet all sorts of people. I try to be helpful and give advice based on what I actually know, not what some brochure says. It’s a lot of sitting at the desk and checking schedules, but it’s good work. I don’t have a big corporate team behind me, it’s just me and a couple of helpers making sure things run as they should. It’s a local business, run by a local person, right in the center of town. I take pride in keeping things simple and clear for everyone who walks in.
