You can find Hefo Organo Valley Private Limited over in Sagolband. We are set up at N. Romeo Singh's place. It’s a pretty normal neighborhood, and we like being part of it. Most of what we do involves looking at how to grow things better without using all those harsh sprays. We spend a lot of time talking to the elders because they remember how things used to be grown. It’s a bit of a learning process every day. Some of our equipment is old, and sometimes things break, but we just fix them and keep moving. We are not a giant corporation with hundreds of people. It is just a small group of us who care about the soil and the plants. We often have meetings around a small table with lots of tea and snacks. The office is a bit cluttered with samples and notebooks, but we know where everything is. Sagolband is a good place to be, close enough to things but still feels like home. We don't use big fancy marketing tricks. We just tell people what we are doing and let the results speak. It's messy sometimes, and we make mistakes, but that is how you learn. We are just trying to build something that lasts and keeps the valley healthy. It takes time, and we are okay with that. There is plenty to do around the 8-A-73/8 (Yks) area and we stay busy with it.
