Psj Farmhouse Tourism Private Limited is up in the hills at Kanthaloor. We are at Perumala Building No. 7/315, a place called Nidheesh Bhavan. If you know Idukki, you know it gets pretty cold and misty up here, which is exactly why we like it. We have a farmhouse where we do a bit of everything. There’s the tourism side, where folks come to see the views and get away from the heat down in the plains. Then there’s the actual farm work that needs doing every single day. We grow things that like the cool air. It’s a lot of walking up and down the slopes, which keeps us tired but healthy, I guess. We aren't a big travel agency. We are just local people who have this house and some land and decided to open it up. Most of our days are spent fixing things up or talking to the neighbors about the crops. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when we have a lot of visitors. Kanthaloor is a special place, and we just try to keep our little corner of it running smoothly. We don't have a big staff, just the family and some help from around the village. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be here in Idukki doing what we do.
