Palathinal Farms Private Limited

Our farm is located in Purappuzha, right near Thodupuzha. The name of the place is Palathinal, which is also the name of our family house. We’ve been farming this land for quite a long time now. It’s a quiet area with plenty of green space. We decided to make it a private limited company just to keep things organized as the farm grew. We don’t have a separate office in the city or anything like that. Everything happens right here on the property. Dealing with crops and livestock is a full-time job that starts early in the morning. We don't use any complicated systems. It’s just about knowing when to plant and when to harvest. We grow a bit of everything, depending on the season. Sometimes it’s coconut, other times it’s different types of vegetables. We don't stick to just one thing because that’s risky. The people in Purappuzha are mostly farmers too, so we help each other out when someone needs an extra hand or a specific tool. It’s a tight-knit community. We registered as Palathinal Farms because we wanted a name that reflected our roots here. We don't have any interest in moving to a big city. The life here in Thodupuzha is what we know and what we like. It’s a lot of early mornings and tired muscles by the end of the day, but at least we are our own bosses.
