It’s a lot of work coordinating everything, and sometimes we get behind on the paperwork, but the actual farming doesn't wait for anyone. We started this because there was a need for some kind of organization among us. It's mostly just a group of people who understand the soil and the seasons here. Some days the office is empty because everyone is out in the fields or traveling to check on things. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy signs. The building is simple, and we like it that way. It’s honest work. Idukki can be tough with the terrain, but it’s home. We just try to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. It’s a long day most of the time, starting early and ending when the light goes. We do what we can with the resources we have available.
