Zubair Burqa

Zubair Burqa is our little shop located at 18-7-212/30/6/B in Talab Katta. We are situated right beside the Qasim Cloth Store, so we’re easy to find if you’re already shopping for fabric in the area. Our space is filled with different styles of burqas and veils. It’s a small shop, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when there are more than two or three people inside. We have sewing machines in the back where some of the work gets done, so you can often hear the hum of the motors while you’re looking around. The walls are lined with our stock, and we try to keep things as tidy as we can, though it gets messy when we’re busy. Talab Katta is a lively neighborhood, and we’ve been a part of it for quite a while now. We don't do any big advertising or have a fancy display window. Most of our customers are women from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. We just focus on making sure the stitching is good and the fabric is what people want. It’s a very traditional kind of business. We talk to our customers, show them what we have, and help them find something that fits. It’s not about being a big brand; it’s just about running a small shop in Talab Katta and serving the people who live here.
