Zakir Foods

Zakir Foods is located at 5/4/541 on Rajiv Chowk Road. Being in Mukarampura means it gets quite lively around here especially during the middle of the day. Our shop is right on the main road so we see everything that happens outside. We spend a lot of time organizing the food items and making sure nothing is sitting in the sun. The building number 5/4/541 is easy to spot once you get onto Rajiv Chowk Road. We don’t have a lot of help so we do most of the heavy lifting ourselves. The shelves are filled with all sorts of things and sometimes it feels like we are running out of space to put new stock. We just keep moving things around to make it work. The air inside can get a bit warm when the sun hits the front of the store in the afternoon. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to pass the time. It is a very straightforward place with no extra frills or fancy setups. People come in from the neighborhood and we usually know what they are looking for before they even ask. It is just about keeping the doors open and making sure the bags are packed right. We take our time with the work and don't rush through things. It is just a small local spot in Mukarampura where we handle food every day.
