White House Apparels is up on the first floor at 2-4-542 on M.G. Road. Ramgopalpet is a busy area, so it’s always loud outside with horns and people walking by. Being on the first floor helps a bit with the noise, but not much. We spend most of our time dealing with heaps of garments and checking through stacks of paperwork. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so carrying big boxes can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We’ve been at this Ramgopalpet location for a long time. The wallpaper is peeling a little in the corner, but it doesn’t bother us since we’re usually too busy to look at it. We aren't the type of company that spends a lot on fancy signs. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years. We handle the apparel business one day at a time, making sure the orders are packed and the stock is where it should be. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the floor. It feels like a second home to many of us because of how many hours we put in. M.G. Road is always changing, with new shops opening and closing, but we’ve managed to stay put right here. It’s just a group of people working hard in a busy part of town, making sure every shirt and pair of pants is handled right before it leaves.
