Even though the area is known for being a bit upscale, we try to keep our shop feeling like a place where anyone can walk in and feel comfortable. We deal mostly in gold and diamond jewelry. The shop has a good amount of space, and we spend our mornings getting everything out of the safe and into the display cases. It’s a lot of work that people don't really see. We don't use any fancy sales talk or corporate scripts here. We just show people what we have and answer their questions. Most of our staff have been with us for years, so we’re like a small family. We get a lot of people who come in after fighting the traffic on Road 36, so we always have water and a place for them to sit and relax. We don't do much in the way of big advertisements.
