My name is Suresh and I run the jewelry works and sales from my place at H I G -17, B66 in the Ap H B Colony. This is over in Moula Ali. I have been working with gold and silver for a long time now. It is a job that takes a lot of patience and steady hands. My workshop is right there where I live, so I am always around if someone drops by. I have my tools and a small bench where I do all the fine work like soldering and polishing. People bring in old pieces that need fixing or they want something simple made from scratch. It is not like those big fancy jewelry stores in the city centers. This is more of a personal thing where I talk to everyone who comes through the door. The colony is a nice place to live and work. I see the same people every day and they know me as the jeweler. Sometimes I spend hours looking through a magnifying glass at a tiny piece of silver. My eyes get tired but I like the feeling of finishing a piece of work. I sell some items too, mostly things I have made myself or sourced carefully. It is a quiet life in Moula Ali, just working with metal and keeping the shop open for the locals who need a repair or a small gift for a wedding. I take pride in making things look good again for people. It is just a small house in the colony.
