Vintage Ice Creams

You can find us at 2-3512, Annapurna Nilayam, which is over in the K P H B Phase area. It is more of a residential neighborhood, so we see a lot of the same people every day. The shop is on the ground floor of the building. We don't have a massive sign or anything that stands out too much. It’s just a cozy little spot where we keep the ice cream ready for whoever wants some. The daily routine is pretty simple. We spend the morning getting things ready and the rest of the day serving whoever walks in. Since it is a residential area, it gets quite busy after school finishes and when people are coming home from work. We don't try to be anything we are not. There are no fancy descriptions or high prices here. It is just a place to get some ice cream and maybe chat for a minute or two. Sometimes we have to deal with the usual problems like a leaky freezer or a late delivery truck, but we just get on with it. We like being part of the KPHB community. It’s nice to see the kids grow up over the years and keep coming back to the shop. We don't do much in the way of promotion. We just stay open and keep the freezers running. It’s a quiet, steady kind of life here at Annapurna Nilayam, and we like it that way.
