Victor Salt Works

We are located right across from the traffic police station here in Moonda Market. If you know Ranigunj, you know it gets pretty busy with all the vehicles and people moving around all day. Our spot is at Plot No-7-2-913. It’s a basic setup, nothing fancy to look at, just a place where we handle the salt business. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready before the heat really kicks in. The traffic outside is constant, and sometimes the noise makes it hard to hear, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been at this for some time. There are a few of us working here. We mostly just focus on the stacks and making sure everything is where it should be. Salt is heavy work, especially when the humidity is high, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. Sometimes the tea stall nearby is the highlight of the afternoon. People stop by and ask for directions because of the police station across the way. We tell them what we know. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving bags. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just the space we need to get the job done. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't affect the salt. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day. We aren't doing anything special, just showing up and doing what's expected of us here at Victor Salt Works.
