Venkeys Veg is located at Door No 5-8-268/270, House No 39, on Public Garden Road in Nampally. We are right opposite the Nampally Railway Station in Hyderabad, which makes it very easy to find but also very noisy. There’s always the sound of trains and people rushing around outside our doors. Our place isn't very large, and it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of people inside at once. We’ve got some old wooden chairs and tables that have seen better days, but they’re sturdy enough. My cousins and I run the day-to-day stuff, and we’re usually behind the counter or back in the kitchen area. We don’t have a fancy website or a "mission statement." We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work. The floor tile in the entryway is a little cracked, and the ceiling fan wobbles a bit on the high setting, but it works. We like being right across from the station because there’s always something happening. You see all kinds of people passing through Hyderabad. We aren't trying to be a gourmet destination; we’re just a local spot where you can sit down for a minute and get out of the sun. It’s a basic, honest business, and we’ve been doing it this way for years now without any complaints. We keep the place running through the heat and the rain without making a big deal out of it.
