Venkateswara Gorments

Venkateswara Gorments is located over at H. No. 8-7-64, right in the Padma Shalinipuram area of Ragendranagar. The shop isn't fancy at all, just a few sewing machines and big piles of fabric sitting in the corners. My hands are usually stained with dye or covered in tiny bits of thread by the time noon rolls around. It gets pretty loud in here when all the machines are running at once, but you eventually get used to the hum. People from the colony often drop by to see if their items are ready yet. Sometimes we are running a bit behind schedule, especially when the power goes out for a few hours. That is just how things go here in Ranga Reddy. We spend most of our daylight hours cutting patterns and stitching, just trying to get through the daily orders. It is a lot of work, and the room can get quite warm in the summer. My family helps out whenever things get really busy. If you are looking for the place, keep an eye out for the house number because it is a bit tucked away from the main road. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that, just this humble workspace. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat while we keep working on the hems. It is a noisy life with the motor sounds and the scissors clicking, but it is what we do.
