Vec Chocolate Machines Pvt.Ltd. is located at 128/3 in Phase II of IDA Chelapally, specifically on Lane-4 of Sector I. If you’ve ever been to Chelapally, you know it’s a hub for small and medium manufacturing. We aren't making the chocolate ourselves here; we make the machines that other people use to make it. So, instead of the smell of cocoa, you mostly get the smell of cutting oil and the sound of metal being worked. It’s a workshop environment with lathes, welding equipment, and benches covered in blueprints and spare parts. We spend a lot of time tinkering with motors and temperature controls to make sure everything works right before it gets sent out. Sometimes a machine comes back for repairs, and it’s always covered in dried chocolate, which is a bit of a mess to clean off. The guys in the shop are really good with their hands and can fix almost anything with a wrench and some patience. We have a small office where we deal with the vendors for the steel and the electrical components. Lane-4 is usually narrow and sometimes blocked by trucks, so we’ve learned to be quick with the forklift when a delivery arrives. It’s a dusty, noisy place where we spend our time putting together the frames and the heaters for the next batch of orders we have on the books.
