Vasavadatta Cements

We spend most of our days here on S D Eye Hospital Road in Masab Tank. It is usually pretty loud outside with all the traffic coming through this part of the city. Being right near the hospital means there are always people moving around, and the dust from the cement bags sometimes settles on the desks if we leave the windows open too long. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to handle the paperwork and talk to the drivers when they bring the loads in. Vasavadatta Cements has been operating out of this spot for a while now. Most mornings start with a cup of tea while we wait for the first trucks to arrive. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the Masab Tank flyover traffic, which throws the whole schedule off, but that is just how it goes in this neighborhood. We have a small crew here. Everyone knows their job. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty because the work is heavy and messy by nature. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, nobody really notices when things are busy. It is a practical space for practical work. When the sun goes down, the area quiets down a little, and we lock up the shutters to do it all again the next day. It is just a regular local business trying to keep up with the local construction needs.
