Vaishnavi Organic Farm

Vaishnavi Organic Farm is not your typical office-based business. We are located at 1-6-8 in Gollar Colony, right in the Jagat area. Most of our work happens outside in the dirt and the sun. We decided to do things the organic way, which just means more manual labor for us and a lot more time spent weeding by hand. Our address at 1-6-8 is where we keep our tools and pack up what we grow. It is a humble setup with a few sheds and a place to wash up after a long day in the fields. You won't find any corporate brochures here. We usually have mud on our boots and dirt under our fingernails. The pace of life in Gollar Colony is a bit slower, and we like it that way. We grow things according to the seasons, so there is always something different happening. Some months are a struggle with the rain, and others are just a battle against the heat. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a list of things that need to be planted or harvested before the day ends. People from Jagat sometimes stop by to see what is ready. We are just a small group of people trying to grow food the old-fashioned way. It is hard on the back, but it is honest work that keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
