Hari Ram Mali

I’m Hari Ram Mali, and I’ve been working out of KPHB Colony for several years now. This is part of the Kukatpally Housing Board area, which is huge. Finding a specific spot here can be tricky if you don't know the lanes. My setup is pretty basic. I don’t have a big corporate office with a receptionist. It’s usually just me handling things. I’ve lived in this part of Hyderabad for a long time, so I know the shortcuts and the local shops. My work keeps me moving around a lot. I’m not the type to sit behind a desk all day. I prefer being out and about, getting things done with my hands. Sometimes my workspace gets a bit messy with tools and materials, but I know where everything is. It’s a one-man show mostly, though I get help when a job is too big. I don’t use any fancy language to describe what I do. I just tell people what’s possible and what isn't. Some days the heat in Hyderabad is brutal, so I take a break in the afternoon and start again when it’s cooler. I don’t have a website or any of those things. People just call me or stop by when they see me working. It’s a simple way to live. I value being honest with people about the time things take. That’s how I’ve always operated here in Kukatpally.
