V R Engineers

V R Engineers is tucked away right near the bus stop in Alwal. It is a very convenient spot because we can see the buses coming and going all day long. The noise from the street is constant, but you stop noticing it after the first week of working here. Our space is filled with tools and metal scraps and whatever project we are currently handling. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably find someone with their sleeves rolled up working on a motor or a piece of machinery. We’ve been in Alwal for a good while and most of the locals know where to find us if they need something engineered or repaired. We try to keep things organized but sometimes when we are busy, the workbench gets a bit messy. It’s just the way it goes. We take our tea breaks when the sun is at its highest and wait for the heat to die down a little. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just rely on the fact that we show up every morning and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for it to come back, which gives us a chance to sit outside and watch the people waiting for their bus. It is a simple, honest way to earn a living in our neighborhood.
