K P Engineering Works

We are tucked away in Prashanthi Nagar I E at Plot 3 A 5 35 204. It’s right there in Kphb Kukatpally, which gets incredibly busy with traffic these days. K P Engineering Works is basically a workshop where we spend our days fixing things and making parts. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, which is pretty standard for a place like this. We started out small and just kept adding a machine here and there until the space got tight. It’s not a shiny showroom, that’s for sure. It’s just a place where work happens. We have a few old lathes that still run better than the new ones we bought last year. The guys spend most of their time hunched over workbenches or running the drills. It gets noisy, so we usually have to shout to hear each other over the machines. Kukatpally has changed a lot since we moved in, but our shop stays mostly the same. We just do the engineering work that comes our way. Sometimes it’s a big job that takes a week, and other times it’s just someone needing a small part turned on the lathe. We don't mind either way. We just keep the tools sharp and the machines oiled. It’s a decent way to spend the day, even if the commute through Prashanthi Nagar is a bit of a headache. The work is steady and that is enough for us.
