United Engineering Corporation is over at 147, R.P. Road. It’s a busy street with lots of different shops and small offices lined up side by side. Our place is a bit older than the others, with a heavy metal door at the front that creaks a little. We’ve been at this address for a very long time. The office inside is pretty basic and functional. We have a few old desks and a lot of metal filing cabinets. R.P. Road is always full of people and vehicles, so there's never a quiet moment. We’ve seen the whole street change quite a bit over the years. New modern buildings come up nearby, but we stay right here at 147. It’s a convenient spot for our regular clients to drop by and chat. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays or marketing. Most of our work is discussed over a cup of tea in the back room. The lighting inside isn't the best in the world, but it works for what we need. We handle a variety of engineering requests from local businesses. It’s just a small team of us working hard every single day. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the side window, but we’ve patched it up as best we can. It’s not a corporate office by any means. It feels more like a workshop where real things actually get done. We know most of the owners on this block.
