Thota Rao

My name is Thota Rao and you can find me over at 2-3-647/A/344 in Prem Nagar. It’s part of the Amberpet area here in Hyderabad. I’ve lived and worked in this part of town for a long time, so I know the streets pretty well. The place isn't hard to find if you know where the main landmarks are in Prem Nagar. It’s a bit of a crowded neighborhood but that’s just how Hyderabad is. My workspace is simple. I’ve got a couple of chairs, a sturdy table, and whatever I need for the day’s tasks. I don't go for those polished, modern looks because that's not really who I am. I prefer staying close to where people actually live. Usually, the day starts quite early before the sun gets too hot. I deal with people from all over the city, and sometimes from outside too. It gets noisy outside with the bikes and the local vendors, but you get used to it after a week or two. I do my own filing and keep track of things myself. It’s just me and a small team helping out when things get really busy. We don’t have a big sign or anything. We just focus on getting the jobs finished so we can go home to our families. It’s a quiet life in a loud city and we just do our best to keep things moving.
