The Zafraan

The Zafraan is over in the Sudarshan Hotel Complex on Narayanguda Road in Hyderabad. We are right across from the HP Petrol Pump. If you know Narayanguda, you know it is a very busy area with lots of students and people going to work. There is always noise from the traffic and the buses passing by outside. Our restaurant is right in the middle of it all. We have been here for several years now and it has become our second home. The kitchen is where most of the work happens. We start early to get everything prepped for the day. It is not a very quiet place, but people seem to like the energy of it. We have a mix of regular customers and people just passing through who saw the sign from the road. The staff is local and we all just get along with the work. We don't go in for anything too fancy. The tables are simple and we just make sure they are clean for the next person. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the evenings and people have to wait a little bit for a seat. We just keep moving and doing our best to get the food out hot. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. We are just glad to be a part of the neighborhood and serve the people who live and work around here. It is just a normal day for us.
