Starting out here in Adoni at the 12/783 address wasn’t exactly easy, but we’ve managed to keep Tglg Polytechnic going for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Andhra Pradesh and you can usually hear the street noise from the classrooms if the windows are open. We spend most of our days working with students who want to learn how things actually work in the real world. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where people come to study and get through their courses. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets too hot in the afternoon, but everyone just keeps on with their work. We have a few labs and some old equipment that still does the job fine for teaching. Most of the staff live nearby so we all know the area pretty well. It’s not like those big universities you see on TV with huge parks and fancy gates. It’s just a practical school for local folks. We try to keep the benches clean and the books in order, though things get messy when big projects are due. People drop by to ask about admissions and we just give them the paperwork. It’s a simple routine that happens every day of the week. Adoni is a small place in some ways, and we feel like a steady part of the neighborhood now. We just focus on the teaching and making sure the students know their stuff before they leave.
