The Indian Institute Of Positive Psychology is located at 103, Sriniketan Apts, 7-1-39/1, right in the heart of Ameerpet. If you know Ameerpet at all, you know how busy and loud it can be at all hours. There are students everywhere and traffic that never seems to stop moving. Our office in Sriniketan Apartments is a bit of a refuge from all that noise outside. Once you step inside Room 103, things feel a lot slower and more manageable. We have shelves full of books on psychology and rows of simple chairs for when we have people over for sessions or classes. The walls are painted a soft color, though there are some marks here and there from moving the furniture around over the years. We do not have a big staff, just a few people who handle the phones and the scheduling for the day. We drink a lot of tea and spend time talking about the different courses we offer. It is a simple setup with a few computers and a lot of notebooks stacked on the desks. The windows look out over the street, so you can see the chaos of the city while staying in the quiet of the apartment. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the main table. It is a place for learning and talking. We just focus on the people who walk through our door.
