The office is in a residential-looking building, so it feels a bit more personal than a big skyscraper. We have been here for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythms of the neighborhood. It is usually quiet in the mornings before the city really wakes up. We just come in, turn on the lights, and start our day. There is no big marketing team here telling us what to say. We are just a group of people doing our jobs. Our space is filled with the usual stuff like computers, mismatched chairs, and a few plants that we try to keep alive. It’s a real working environment, not something out of a magazine. We like being near Lower Tank Bund because you can take a walk when you need to clear your head. Most of our day is spent at our desks. We don't have any grand mission statements pinned to the walls. We just want to do decent work and get home to our families at a reasonable hour.
