Takashi Aquapets

We are situated on Road No 14 in Banjara Hills. Our place is right across from the Venkateshwara Temple, which is a very busy spot on certain days of the week. Being at Takashi Aquapets means we spend a lot of our time around water and the sound of filters running. The humidity in the shop is always a bit higher than outside because of all the tanks. Banjara Hills is a nice part of Hyderabad, though the hills make walking around a bit of a workout. We get a mix of people coming in, some just curious and others who have been keeping fish for years. The shop has a specific smell to it, mostly just fresh water and fish food, which we don't even notice anymore. It is a quiet kind of work, watching the fish move around while the city traffic hums outside. We have been at this address, 500034, for quite a while now. The temple across the street brings a lot of peace to the area, except when there is a festival and the whole road gets blocked up with devotees. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the tanks and feed the pets. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear comfortable clothes because things often get a bit splashed or messy when we are cleaning. It is just the way things are here every day.
