Taj

People just know us as Taj. We are located at 6/1/43 in Hyderabad. It is a very old address in a very old part of the city. We don't have a long name or a big sign with lights. My grandfather was the one who first got this spot, and it’s stayed in the family since then. We do a bit of everything here, mostly small-scale stuff. The space is quite cramped. We have a lot of shelves filled with things we’ve collected over the years. It’s not the most organized place in the world, to be honest. The walls are a bit stained from the years of use, and the floor is worn down where people stand. We get a lot of people walking by who just pop their heads in to say hello. It's that kind of neighborhood. The traffic outside is constant, with the sound of horns and people shouting. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the doors open and the ceiling fans on high. It’s a humble setup. We don't use computers much, mostly just doing things by hand and keeping track of stuff in our heads. It’s how we've always done it at 43. We don't plan on changing much. It’s a bit dusty and it’s a bit loud, but it is home for us during the day. We're just local people running a local spot in a busy city.
