Hyderabad Marriott

You can find us over at Plot No. 93 in Phase-IV of T.V. Colony. This is in the Vanasthalipuram area of Hyderabad. It is a residential kind of spot, so it feels a bit different than the big city center. We run things here with a small group of staff who have been around for a long time. The building is a decent size. We spend most of our hours making sure everything is clean and ready for whoever comes through the door. It is a lot of physical work. We have rooms to take care of and guests who come in at all hours of the night. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb goes out, and we have to run around and fix it right away. It is not like the movies. It is mostly just hard work and being polite to everyone who walks in. We see all kinds of people here. Some stay for one night, others stay for a week. We have a kitchen that stays pretty busy too. The smell of sambar or tea is usually in the air. We don't really have a fancy marketing team. We just rely on people knowing where we are in the colony. It is a steady life. We show up, do our shifts, and make sure the place is still standing at the end of the day. It is a practical way to earn a living in this part of town.
