Our place, Svg International, is over at 3-2-389 in Lb Nagar. It’s a busy part of town, and we’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall knows exactly what we order every morning. We deal with a lot of different types of stone, and the yard is always a bit of a puzzle trying to fit new shipments in. We call it 'International' but we’re really just a local bunch of guys working hard. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the slabs for cracks and weird spots. Granite is a bit unpredictable, you know? You think you have a perfect piece and then you find a vein that doesn't look right. We just show people what’s available on the day they come in. There’s no point in lying about what we can get. We keep the paperwork in some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls. It’s a working yard with dust, noise, and the smell of diesel from the trucks. We’ve built up a lot of regular customers over the years who just trust us to give them a decent price. We aren’t looking to change the world, just to sell enough stone to keep the lights on and the families fed. We usually close up when it gets dark and start again early the next day.
