Sv Fashions

You can find us over at Plot-B2 in Laxmipuram, which is right in the AS Rao Nagar area of Hyderabad. Sv Fashions is just a regular shop where we try to keep a good stock of clothes for the people living nearby. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we see a lot of the same people every week. Some come in just to browse while they’re out on a walk, and others come looking for something very specific for a party. We spend a lot of time arranging the racks and making sure everything looks halfway decent. It’s not a high-end mall experience. It’s more like stopping by a neighbor’s place. We have a few mirrors and some basic changing rooms, and that’s about it. The weather in Hyderabad can be a bit much, so we keep the place as cool as we can with the fans we have. Sometimes we get new stock in and the whole floor is covered in plastic wrap and cardboard boxes for a few hours. We just work through it. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we’re just running a business and trying to make sure the folks in Laxmipuram have somewhere close to buy their clothes. It’s steady work, and we like the rhythm of the colony. Most days are predictable, which is fine by us. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next person to walk in.
