Supriya Engnieering

We’ve got our setup on the first floor over at Prashanthi Nagar in Kukatpally. The address is a bit of a mouthful, Dr.No.5-5-35/45/1, but once you find the street, it’s not too bad. Kukatpally is always moving, always noisy. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up and down, which keeps us fit, I suppose. Supriya Engnieering is a small operation, really. We don't have a lot of space, so every corner of the shop is used for something. You’ll find bits of machinery and tools scattered across the workbenches. It’s a lot of manual work, fixing things and putting parts together. The light in the workshop isn't the best, but we’ve got enough lamps to see what we’re doing. We mostly just focus on the task at hand. It gets crowded in here when we have a few people working at once, and the noise from the street below never really stops. We drink our chai and talk about the day's work, trying to figure out the best way to handle a tricky repair or a new build. We don't have a glossy brochure or a fancy sign. Most people just know us as the guys on the first floor who do engineering work. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with papers and parts mixed together, but we know where everything is. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We just do what needs doing.
