Styling Men

If you head over to Mehdipatnam and look for shop no-5 on the first floor along Asif Nagar Road, that is where Styling Men is located. Being up on the first floor means you can see the traffic moving down below, which is usually quite a lot since we are right near the Asif Nagar Police Station. The stairs are a bit narrow, but once you get up here, the shop is open and gets some decent light during the day. We have been in this spot for some time, and it has become a bit of a routine for the men in this area to drop by. The fans hum overhead all day long to keep the heat away. It is mostly just us doing the usual work with scissors and combs. There is no big sign or anything too flashy outside, just the name. The interior has some older pictures on the walls of different styles, though most people just ask for what they always get. It gets pretty loud with the bikes and buses honking on the road outside, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time just standing by the chairs, waiting for the next person to walk through the door. It is a straightforward kind of place for a haircut, nothing more and nothing less than what you see when you walk in.
