I am staying over at Room 102 in the Godavari Hostel right now. It is inside the JNTU College of Engineering campus here in Kukatpally. Hyderabad can get really busy, especially around this part of town, but the hostel is where most things happen for us. Living here means being close to classes and dealing with the usual daily stuff students deal with. We spend a lot of time in these rooms just getting through the day. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is a bit slow, but you just get used to it after a while. Most of my day is spent between the library and this room. There isn't much to say other than we are just trying to keep up with the coursework and manage everything in this small space. The hostel has been home for a bit now. You see the same faces in the corridors every morning. It’s not fancy or anything like that. Just a plain room with a desk and a bed where I do my work. The address is quite specific because mail usually takes a while to find the right hostel block. People often get lost finding Godavari, but it's right there once you know the turns. We don't have a big setup or anything, just what fits in a single room. It's practical. That is basically what things look like for me right here in Hyderabad while I'm at the college.
