Step Stone India is located here in Hyderabad. The address is a bit personal because it lists Mr. Sher Singh. That’s just how we are set up. We aren't some distant company with no face. We are part of the local fabric here. The office isn't much to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of cables. We deal with whatever comes our way. It’s a small operation. We don’t have layers of management. If there’s a problem, we just talk to each other and fix it. Hyderabad is a fast city, but we try to keep a steady pace. We don't want to burn out. The area around us is okay, quite a few homes nearby. We’ve been here long enough that we know when the garbage truck comes and when the local shops open up. It’s a routine. We aren't making grand promises to change the world. We just provide what we can and try to be fair about it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back. Those are the times we actually get to talk about things other than work. It’s a humble place, really. We just do our best with what we have and keep moving forward every day. No frills, just effort.
