Down at Cross Center in Gulapalli, you’ll find our place. Despite the name Star Galaxy Pvt. Ltd., we aren’t anything too flashy or high-tech. We’re located at Pl.No.285, and it’s a pretty straightforward setup for anyone who knows the area. Gulapalli is a decent area for this kind of business because we have the space we need for the heavy slabs. The work here is mostly about the physical handling of the material. Granite is heavy, and it doesn't care about your back or your schedule. We spend our days out in the yard, mostly. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, and the stone holds that heat for a long time. We don't have a lot of office staff; it's mostly just the guys who handle the loading and unloading. We try to keep the yard in some kind of order, but when you're moving tonnes of material, it's always a bit of a struggle. The local roads around the Cross Center are always busy with transport, so we're used to the noise of the trucks. We’ve got a routine that works for us, and we just stick to it. Sometimes the slabs have little imperfections, and we just show them as they are to whoever asks. There’s no point in hiding how stone looks in its raw state. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most polished outfit around. We just want to get through the orders and make sure the trucks are loaded right before the day ends.
