St Mathews Primary School

St Mathews Primary School is right on the Main Road here in Kondaparthy. You can't really miss us if you're driving through. It’s a pretty basic setup, nothing too flashy, just a place for the local kids to come and get their early schooling done. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all know the families around here. Mornings are always a bit of a rush with the parents dropping off their little ones right by the gate. The road gets busy, but we keep an eye on things. Inside, the classrooms are simple. We’ve got the usual chalkboards and wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. It’s noisy when the kids are at play, and that’s just how a primary school should be, I guess. We spend a lot of our time making sure the books are in order and the kids are actually sitting in their seats. There is a lot of paperwork too, which nobody really likes doing but it’s part of the deal. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It is just a school in the middle of the village. We handle the daily stuff as it comes. Some days are harder than others, especially when it rains and things get a bit messy outside. We just keep the doors open and do what needs doing for the students. It’s a simple life for us here.
