Rise Kids

Our school is on Road Number 82 in Jubilee Hills, Phase 3. It is a pretty nice area with a lot of trees around. Rise Kids is where we spend our mornings with the younger children. The building has different rooms for different age groups. We have a small outdoor area where they can run around for a bit before it gets too hot. In the mornings, the road gets quite jammed with cars, but once the gates are closed, it is just us and the kids. We have a lot of colorful drawings on the walls that the students made. It isn't a perfect, sterile environment; there are usually some crayons on the floor and maybe a stray shoe. We just go through the lessons and the playtime. Jubilee Hills is a busy part of town, so we try to keep the atmosphere inside calm. The staff here has been together for a while. We know which kids like which snacks and who needs a bit of extra help. We don't use any complicated teaching theories. We just talk to them and play and make sure they are learning their ABCs. By the afternoon, it gets quiet when everyone goes home. Then we just tidy up and get ready for the next morning. It is a steady routine that we have grown to like.
