Sri Venkateswara Foods

Sri Venkateswara Foods is found at 4/5/74 in the Subhash Nagar area of Jeedimetla. This is an area with a lot of houses and small industries. Our shop is tucked into the neighborhood and we serve the people who live nearby. The address 4/5/74 is a place where we spend most of our waking hours. We have a lot of different food packets and containers lined up along the walls. It is not a very large shop but we make use of every inch of space we have. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting through the narrow lanes of Subhash Nagar but we always manage. We do all the work ourselves from cleaning the counters to stacking the heavy bags. There is no big team of people here just a couple of us doing the daily chores. The ceiling fan hums all day long and we usually have the door wide open to let some light in. It is a very basic setup without any modern design. We just care about having the food items ready for the locals. Jeedimetla can be a bit dusty so we are always wiping down the containers. It is a simple life and the work is steady. We like being part of this little corner of the world where everyone knows where we are located.
