Sri Venkateswara Food Products

Our place, Sri Venkateswara Food Products, is located at number 845 in Rajeshwari Nagar. It’s a residential area mostly, so we try to keep things quiet, but food production always has some noise. We’ve been in this neighborhood for quite a while now. Most of our neighbors know the smells coming from our kitchen areas. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have a huge factory. It’s more like a large house that we’ve converted to fit our needs. We make things the way we would at home, just in bigger quantities. There are about six or seven of us working here daily. We wear our aprons and get to work early in the morning. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, people just come by or we send things out to the local shops nearby. Rajeshwari Nagar is a nice place to work. We know the postman and the tea seller on the corner. We aren't trying to be a global brand. We just want to make good food that people around here enjoy eating. It’s practical work. We clean up at the end of the day, lock the gates, and do it all again tomorrow. It’s a steady life and we are thankful for it. There’s always someone laughing or chatting while we work, which makes the long day go by faster for everyone.
