You can smell whatever we are working on from the street sometimes. It is a mix of mechanical sounds and the rattling of packing crates. Kukatpally is a crowded area so getting the delivery vans in and out of the gate is a daily struggle for our drivers. Inside, the floors are kept as clean as possible because that is just how it has to be with food. We have a few big machines that do the heavy work and then a line of people who handle the sorting and checking by hand. It’s a lot of repetitive movement but everyone has their rhythm. We try to keep things organized but on busy days the warehouse gets a little cluttered with pallets and tape rolls lying around.
