About Sri Venkateswara College Of Fine Arts – Art & Craft in Hyderabad
The college is right here on Hi Tech City Road in Madhavpur, which stays busy pretty much all day long. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and you can usually see students carrying big drawing boards or messy bags full of brushes coming in and out. It’s not a fancy corporate building, just a place where people sit down and actually work on their art. Sometimes the rooms get a bit cramped when everyone is trying to finish their projects at the same time, but that’s just how it is here. Being in this part of the city means there’s always noise from the street, but once you get inside and start focusing on a canvas or a piece of clay, you kind of stop noticing the traffic outside. The hallways often have that faint smell of oil paint and turpentine, which I guess is what you’d expect. We spend a lot of time just organizing the daily schedule and making sure there’s enough space for the new classes. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, especially when the weather gets hot and everyone just wants to sit near the fans. Most of the people who come here are just looking for a way to get better at what they do, and we try to keep things practical. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about putting in the hours and seeing what happens on the paper or the canvas.
