Akashstatue House

Akashstatue House is located at Shop No. 21-2-409/4. We are tucked inside the Citymarket, specifically in the Mahboob Chowk area. It’s a very crowded part of the city, and finding us for the first time can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't used to the narrow lanes. We spend our time surrounded by various statues and the crates they come in. The shop is filled with the sound of the market outside, people shouting, and the general chaos of a busy trading day. We don’t have much space to move around, so we have to be very organized with how we stack things. Most of our work involves checking the statues for any marks and making sure they are stored safely. It’s heavy work sometimes, moving things around in the heat. Mahboob Chowk has been around a long time, and we feel like we’ve been part of the Citymarket landscape for a while now too. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where Shop No. 21-2-409/4 is. It’s a practical way to live and work. We just do our best to keep the statues clean and the orders moving out to where they need to go. There is always something to do at Akashstatue House, even when the market slows down a little in the late evening.
